ThreadSnap: Thread Exporter — Terms of Use

Last updated: 21 September 2026

By installing or using ThreadSnap: Thread Exporter ("the extension"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension.

What the extension does

ThreadSnap lets you save an X / Twitter thread you are viewing as a PDF or as image files. It works only with posts already rendered in your browser as you scroll — or, if you paste a list of post links, posts it opens one by one in your own tab — and generates all files locally on your device. The list feature navigates your tab automatically, with a short pause between posts, so it is automated use of your own X session: keep lists small, and note that X may limit or restrict accounts it considers to be using automation.

Acceptable use

No warranty

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Exported output is derived from on-screen post images and may vary in quality; it is not guaranteed to reproduce the original posts exactly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the extension, including any loss related to exported content or your use of it.

Not affiliated with X / Twitter

ThreadSnap is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe compatibility.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
